The word ''couples'' embraces a whole range of relationships
married couples- partners
- parents and children
- work colleagues
- friends
Wherever difficulties arise in the relationship between two people it can be helpful for both to see a counsellor.
When a couple approach me to enquire about counselling, what generally happens is that we meet all together. If we agree to continue then there is the possibility of one-to-one meetings as well as meetings where all three of us are present. Confidentiality applies in one-to-one meetings, so I will not disclose to the other person anything shared with me in that meeting without prior consultation.
